Substance use disorder treatment and recovery (STAR) Loan Repayment Program Applications Now open!
The HRSA Health Workforce Substance Use Disorder Treatment and Recovery (STAR) Loan Repayment Program is now accepting applications. The program helps repay up to $250,000 of student loan debt in exchange for serving in eligible health care sites in need.
Applications are open now through Thursday, July 10, 2025. Licensed health professionals in eligible disciplines can receive loan repayment assistance in exchange for six years of full-time service in an approved facility.
