About
Berks Community Health Center (BCHC) provides exceptional patient-centered primary and preventive healthcare for all residents of Berks County. Opened in June 2012, BCHC is a non-profit 501(c)3 organization classified as a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC). As the only FQHC in Berks County, BCHC’s mission is To improve access and the health of our community through the delivery of coordinated comprehensive services for all residents of Berks County regardless of their economic status. Its vision is Berks Community Health Center is committed to improving the health of our community through the delivery and coordination of affordable, comprehensive, culturally sensitive patient- and family-centered healthcare. To achieve our mission and realize our vision, we embrace the following values: Respect for People, Quality, Integrity, Community Focus. Currently operating out of four locations throughout the city, 838 Penn St, 1040 Liggett Ave, 430 N.2nd St., and 1100 Rockland St., BCHC provides primary, specialty, and dental care for all ages. BCHC earned Primary Care Medical Home recognition from The Joint Commission as well as Ambulatory Care certification.
