NHSC Students to Service Loan Repayment Applications Open
The National Health Service Corps (NHSC) Students to Service Loan Repayment Program is now accepting applications. The program helps repay up to $120,000 in tax-free student loan debt in exchange for serving for 3 years in eligible health care sites in need.
An additional $40,000 Maternity Care Target Area Supplemental Award is available to eligible physicians and certified nurse midwives.
Applications are open now through Thursday, November 6, 2025. You must be a U.S. Citizen or U.S. National, be enrolled as a full-time student in the last year of medical, physician assistant, nursing, or dental school pursuing an eligible discipline.
