Nulton Diagnostic and Treatment Center, Johnstown – Psychiatry

Nulton Diagnostic and Treatment Center (NDTC) is in need of a Psychiatrist to provide outpatient psychiatric services in an office setting. The successful candidate will have knowledge of mental health services for children/adolescents and adults. The position is full-time Monday through Friday. Must be licensed in PA. NDTC is accredited by the Joint Commission and licensed by the Commonwealth as an Outpatient Psychiatric Clinic.

NDTC is a large provider of mental health services. Currently, we have ten psychiatrists/physicians, two Physician’s Assistants, nine nurses, over twenty Mental Health Therapists, three psychologists, and many more staff. Altogether, NDTC and Peerstar LLC (another NDTC company) employ over 350 employees in the state of Pennsylvania. Of the ten psychiatrists, three are four are board certified in child psychiatry. Additionally, NDTC was one of the leaders in Telepsychiatry as well as a community-based mental health approach. NDTC/Peerstar have been instrumental and innovative in creating programs that have been highly effective in outcomes to include Urgent Care for Mental Health, Community Based Intensive Treatments that have significant reduced the hospitalizations to the community hospital and the state hospital, Forensic Peer Support Programs (with Yale University), and many other programs throughout the state.

The psychiatrist that joins this practice will enjoy a strong team atmosphere, high technology, many supports including administrative, compliance, IT, and clinical. The practice is busy but and yet, manageable given the number of the extraneous items that would be typical in a practice are completed by other support staff such as prescription authorizations, eligibilities, case management, etc. Additionally, NDTC is partnered with Genoa Pharmacies to provide an on-site pharmacy.

NDTC also provides Children’s and Adult Partial Hospitalization Programs, Family Based Mental Health, Blended Case Management, and Evidence-Based Programming such as FFT.
